Funny, Dark, and Witty, They Went Another Way, is a new original comedy that exposes the lives of two “seasoned” actresses on a desperate quest to “Make It”…

TO MAKE IT:
1) To create, exist, succeed in reaching a goal. 2) To screw.

TO SCREW:
1) To act foolishly and accomplish nothing. 2) To make it.

Exposing the unsavory underbelly of a world where rejection, humiliation and degradation are as routine as a cup of coffee, They Went Another Way, is a smart two-person comedy created by Vancouver actors Tanya Reid, Michelle Addison, and Terri-Lyn Storey. They Went Another Way finds two actresses, Scarlet (Storey) and Sophie (Addison) living as room-mates and hitting rock bottom as their acting careers and lives are spinning out of control.

“Audiences laugh their way through this high-energy play, and the acting is superb." ~Vue Weekly, Edmonton~

They Went Another Way was part of a three city tour that played in Edmonton, Penticton, and Vancouver.

Terri-Lyn Storey and Michelle Addison also spent the summer with a Documentary crew that explored the lives of 2 actors on the hustle in Vancouver. The Documentary followed Terri-Lyn and Michelle as the two of them created an original play, along with the Co-creator Tanya Reid, and directed by Brendan Bieser. They toured the show across parts of Canada including playing at the Edmonton and Vancouver International Fringe Festivals. The two actors were living and touring in a vintage 1973 Chevy Boogie Van who is fondly nicked named Betsy Blue. The Documentary continues to follow the two actors as their lives and work continue to unfold…
